How to transplant a sable palm. I will be showing the prosses to which we transplanted several large palm trees. We will investigate just how much of the root system is needed in order to have a succesful transplant. We extracted the sable palms from the soil,in nurserynteerms a field grown tree. We then prepared a hole and stood 6 large sable palm trees virticle. Then I burried the root ball and watered the tree thoroughly. Allowing soil and nutrient to fully encompass the roots.
